Community Grant Application
The Dumas EDC seeks to encourage Dumas based civic and non-profit organizations to undertake projects that improve the area’s quality of life. The Community Grant Program has awarded over $456,309.88 to numerous projects and programs since 2002. This program is for organizations that serve a high percentage of Dumas and Moore County residents, have an economic benefit, and workforce component, contain recreational and/or educational value, address an identifiable community need, contain a high percentage of matching contributions, improve the area’s appearance and address quality of life value. Quality of life values for our purposes may include health, safety, diverse recreational and cultural opportunities, a sense of community, a sense of place, and a sense of beauty.
Dumas EDC has designated a set amount of funds for this program each year and eligible projects will feature one-time project costs incurred for the acquisition or renovation of capital, physical or tangible assets. All applicants must be a Dumas-based organization with all projects located within Moore County. All interested 501(c) non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply.
